AERIL-KICS provided third party validation consultancy services in order to assess and validate the objectives of project conducted by Reconciliation Cell department of Energy Department Punjab. Scope of work included validation of 10% of installed AMI meters inspection and data collection from all over Punjab installed under corresponding DISCO companies. Furthermore, monitoring software validation, report generation, billing units verification for all 1698 meters, and overbilling by WAPDA has been identified and reported to the Client. A comprehensive report has been delivered to client stating the current status of surveyed meters, analysis of overall software logged data, comparison of logged data with on-site meters functionality, report generations, billing units verification and estimated savings. Moreover, project impact assessment is also reported based on effectiveness, relevance and feedback from beneficiaries. Future recommendations are also included in the report.
