Government of Punjab initiated the solar system installation for 4321 remote off-Grid Government schools all over Punjab to improve the electricity provision situations at schools. AERIL-KICS, UET Lahore provided Technical consultancy services to assist DOPP Energy Department.

Scope of work included: Survey of schools to observe technical and structural data, Data analysis of schools provided by Schools Education Department, Technical specifications for system solutions according to the load considerations and designs, Preparation of Bid Document for Contractor, Contractor Technical Bid Evaluation, Prototypes Evaluation, Assistance in Award of Contract, Field inspection and reporting during installation by Contractor, Completion testing and Reporting
