Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) - Introduction
Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV)
Previous Work:
Prototype of electric tri wheeler has been developed. Analysis of aerodynamics of tri wheeler for propulsion power calculation yield propulsion power of 3KW. For this purpose 3KW BLDC motor is used in electric tri wheeler. Features of developed electric vehicle are:
Current Work:
Currently we are working on indigenizing the BLDC traction motor its complementary four quadrant drive and body design of electric tri wheeler to reduce aerodynamics

Future work:
Following goals are aimed to address in future
• Production of EV BLDC motor and drive
• Body design of electric tri wheeler to reduce the aero dynamics
• Production of energy efficient electric tri wheeler
• Electrification of cars and buses
