Current Position & Education:

Mr. Zohaib Ahmad Chughtai is currently serving as Assistant Manager Research / Team Lead at KICS, University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, where he leads research and development teams and manages institution-level software and research projects. He is also pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UET Lahore, focusing on advanced and applied research in Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, IoT, and Scalable Software Systems.

Professional Experience:

Prior to his current role, Zohaib was promoted to Senior Research Officer in 2023, in recognition of his leadership, research contributions, and technical expertise. In this role, he played a key part in project architecture, research execution, and mentoring junior researchers and developers.

Earlier, he served as a Research Officer, where his responsibilities included software development, teaching support, collaborative research, and supervision of interns and junior staff.

Zohaib began his professional career in 2019 as a Research Assistant at KICS, UET Lahore, where he developed strong expertise in ASP.NET, full-stack web development, enterprise systems, and applied research, contributing to multiple funded and institutional projects.

Key Achievements and Contributions:

• Leading and managing multi-disciplinary research and development teams as Assistant Manager Research / Team Lead.

• Successfully delivered enterprise-level systems, including ERP, web portals, and research-driven applications.

• Published 7+ research papers in reputable journals and conferences in Blockchain, AI, IoT, and Cybersecurity.

• Conducted professional training and mentoring programs in advanced web and software development.

• Developed multilingual, scalable, and multi-framework applications, bridging academic research with industry and institutional needs.

• Actively contributing to digital transformation and system modernization initiatives at UET Lahore.

Current Focus:
Zohaib is currently focused on Ph.D.-level research, research team leadership, and the development of secure, intelligent, and scalable software solutions, with the aim of driving impactful innovation in both academia and applied technology domains.
