This lab focuses on signal processing algorithm development for Digital and wireless communication.
Al-Khawarizmi Institute of Computer Science took an initiative in 2007 to study, simulate and implement 4-G mobile (WiMAX) standard. Engineers from the lab have simulated several components of the standard and are in the process of implementing an open source SDR platform. In addition, the engineers are working on developing a flexible trainer for the digital and analog communication experiments
