The Digital Signal and Image Processing Lab has been actively involved in various research areas like real-time DSP on embedded hardware, image processing, applied research, algorithm development and many more. The projects initiated in this lab are continuously being developed and extended by the enthusiastic and energetic team working here.

Currently, the lab is engaged in promoting its recent product--the FlexTrainer. The Chairman of Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore has shown keen interest in employing this telecommunication trainer in their communication labs for the purpose of learning of under graduate students. For this purpose, the research assistants at this lab are extending their full support to familiarize the teachers of Electrical Engineering Department with different functionalities and experimental details of the trainer. This venture has encouraged us towards further extension and development of our project. It has motivated us to introduce this product to other private universities of the country as well.

In future, we aim at exploring new areas in industrial sector and fields of general interest to apply the extensive knowledge of signal processing. We desire to provide consultancy and every possible help in our capacity to satisfy our clients. It is the need of the hour that we should extend our best efforts towards the betterment of general community.
