Biography

Dawer Saeed was born in Lahore, Pakistan.  Dawer started his early schooling from KAPCO Secondary School, KAPCO, Kot Adu and after he moved to Lahore in 2002 he completed his Secondary education from board of Intermediate and Secondary education Lahore in 2005. After completing his Secondary education he completed his intermediate from Govt. Islamia College Civil Lines, Lahore in 2008. He completed his Bachelors in Mechatronics and Control Engineering from University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore in 2012. During his graduation he successfully completed several projects based on Electronics, Robotics. He has also served as Vice President Technical for department based student's society "Mechatronics Club". After completing his bachelors he started working for Khawaja Electronics Pvt. Limited as Production Engineer where he has been involved in the research and development of Electrolytic capacitors and worked on their performance enhancement using a low cost Aluminium Foil. He has also Contributed well in streamlining the production flow by introducing different techniques which eventually resulted in the increase of daily production. Then after switching and serving for one year to Pakistan Cycle Industrial Co-operative society as Assistant Manager Production, he joined Al-Khwarizmi Institute of Computer Sciences, University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore Pakistan since August, 2014. He has worked on different projects majorly on Near Field Communication and WiFi. He has also written different papers. He has also presented his paper at International Conference on Open Source Systems and Technologies (ICOSST) held at UET Lahore on 17-20th December, 2014. Alongwith his research and professional activities, Dawer also has his interests in different social and community services activities, he has been a mentor with "The Citizen Foundation" schools. Where he has mentored and motivated school children of village area to how to pursue their career and excel in it even if you do not have your family conditions in your favour.

Research Interest

Dawer has been doing research in different fields of technology, he has done research on NFC which stands for Near Field Communication and he has also done some research based on IoT based project, like he has published a research paper on "design of ANPR System utilizing short range wireless technologies"
