The research group is established to design solutions for photonic networking ranging from access networks (passive optical networks) to long-haul all-optical networks (optical packet switching and optical burst switching). Research group looks into designing all aspects of photonic networks’ infrastructure including designing and developing the architecture, protocols and algorithms for aforementioned networks.
