Huawei UET Telecom and IT Center (HUTIC)
Introduction
University of Engineering and Technology has taken a new leap in telecommunication engineering with the UET HUAWEI Joint Telecom Lab. The GSM lab provides a perfect place for students to gain experience related to practical application of communication standards. This lab is to be used for study purposes; the lab is a complete telephone network including a GSM mobile infrastructure with only one MSC, one BSC and one BTS, connected to a PSTN exchange. Figure 1 shows the schematic diagram of the lab with physically separate modules shown by round-cornered rectangles.
