Certificate Distribution Ceremony for HUAWAE Training HUAWEI-UET Telecom IT Centre (HUTIC) was established as a joint venture of UET Lahore with HUAWEI Technologies (China). As a result, Huawei technologies provided the latest versions of Telecom and Networking equipment of worth around 9 Million USD to the UET Lahore. With this investment HUTIC has become the largest training facility in telecommunication technology in Pakistan. Huawei-UET has 12 years of successful collaboration. The center is now providing training to over 1000 students from different universities every year from all over Pakistan. The students are serving in Pakistan and Worldwide. In the latest session about 6 different courses on Telecom and Networking Technologies taught to students of Comsats and Bannu University.
To award certificates to the successful trainees of June 2014 session, HUTIC organized a certificate distribution ceremony on August 29, 2014. The General Manager Central Region Huawei Technologies, Mr. Lin Jinke (Jacob) graced the occasion as Chief Guest with CEO at Komkonsult , Mr. Jahanzeb Sarfraz as distinguished guest.
The event started with the recitation of Holy Quran. Managing Director Al-Khawarizmi Institute Dr. Waqar Mehmood welcomed the guests and students, and briefed them about the trainings conducted at the centre. Then the respected guest Mr. Lin Jinke (Jacob) addressed the students. He expressed his views about the current state of Telecom industry in Pakistan and the impact of the courses conducted at the centre. Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Jahanzeb Sarfraz highlighted on the challenges and the benefits of 3G and 4G migration. Later in the feedback session, various trainees expressed overall satisfaction on the training program. They were of the opinion that the said program was useful in acquiring professional knowledge with sufficient opportunity for hands on practice. Afterwards the distinguished guest distributed certificates to the successful students. Dr. Waqar thanked the honorable dignitaries presented them a shield as token of appreciation. Refreshment was arranged in the HUTIC department, and later on the ceremony ended with a group photograph.
